Mean annual precipitation (rain and melted snowfall, mm) in Alaska for 2000-2009. Maps were produced by the Scenarios Network for Alaska Planning (SNAP) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks using data from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia, downscaled using the base climatology produced by the PRISM Climate Group at Oregon State University.
